To ensure our milling centers are the ultimate in cost-efficiency and performance, Century continually reinvests in the latest CNC technology available. We currently utilize the industry’s most advanced state-of-art next generation 4 and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling centers.
Century Specialties provides precision milling with the following capabilities:
- 3, 4, & 5-axis milling capability
- Vertical & horizontal milling
- Up to 137" X 98" X 63"
- Up to 22,000 lbs.

PRECISION TURNING
Century’s cutting-edge turning capability includes advanced CNC horizontal and vertical lathes and multi-tasking Turn-Mill centers. Our Turn-Mill centers are world class in cost efficiency and accuracy, combining turning and milling into one machine tool. Complete with automation options, and in-process gauging; our turning department produces complex multifaceted close tolerance components.
Our precision turning capabilities include:
- 2, 3, 4, & 5 axis simultaneous turning
- Twin-turret turning
- Vertical & horizontal turning
- Up to 120" between centers
- Up to 48" in diameter
PRECISION GRINDING
Century’s grinding department has extensive experience producing highly ground and polished components for applications requiring complex super-finishes where accuracy cannot be compromised in both soft and hardened material components.
Our precision grinding and polishing services include:
- Five-axis CNC profile grinding
- ID & OD grinding
- Surface, thread, & spline grinding
- 24" diameter & 110" length
- 6,100 lbs. max weight
THREAD ROLLING
Rolled threads provide increased tensile strength, improved fatigue and stripping resistance. Combined with our in-house heat treating capabilities, Century can produce threads for most high performance, high wear applications. Both in-feed and thru-feed processing available.
Our precision grinding and polishing services include:
- 2.5 inch maximum diameter
- 55 inch maximum part length
- Up to 60,000 lbs rolling pressure
